Hi everyone
I am sorry I have not been on much again over the past few weeks... Jay has been pretty poorly again. His asthma has been quite bad then to top it off he had a bad ear infection. He is a little better now thank goodness. I have lots of piccys and things to upload and I hope to get around to doing so over the next few day. So take care for now.

These are a few random cards that I have made recently. Please feel free to comment or just to say hi so I know that you have visited me. xx

This one was for Dave's niece who was 18 years old

This one was for a friend

I made this one for a DC friend as part of a wallet swap

I made this one for my best friend's daughter
I made this card and little gifts for a friend's daughter who turned 11 years old on Thursday 21st January. Was a little worried incase she did not like them as I really wasn't sure what 11 year old girls were in to but she loved them.

Some of Jay's birthday cards that I made.

First of all I want to apologise for totally neglecting my blog. I have been so busy since last time I was on here. Things got pretty hectic here for a while. With having 6 kids life is always full of suprises and if one child gets poorly then they all end up poorly. We had a run of upset tummys, ear infections, throat infections, chest infections and even a case of the dreaded swine flu for poor Elle. Hopefully things will settle down a little and I get a bit of time to spend on my blog now I have all the kids back at school. This is the first week that the kids have done since before christmas because of the snow.
Well... today is a special day.... It is Jay's 2nd birthday. I can't believe he is 2 years old already... my baby is getting a big boy now! We have lots of fun today playing with his new garage and cars and drawing on his aquamat (Disney Cars one). I think it is a little overwhelming for him as he normally potters around all day doing his own thing, he is so good.

What's in here then...

Is this for my trains I wonder...

Ohhh... Roary...

What's this do then...

Is that camera pointing at me....

Cheese!

Something for our Heroes...

A friend named Paula from Docrafts, put this poem up for us to read and asked for us to share this with others that we know. It is for all our soldiers that have been loved and lost and to the families that grieve for their loved ones.

Repatriation
By SSgt Andy McFarlane

The leviathan of the sky does land,
In England’s green and pleasant land
Its cargo more precious than gold,
The body of a hero, bold
Once the giant's engines stopped,
The cargo ramp is gently dropped
Carried by six on shoulders true,
The hero is saluted by the crew
The coffin draped in Union Jack,
Is slowly carried out the back
Out of the dark and into light,
Slowly down the ramp and to the right
The six approach the hearse all black,
And place the hero gently in the back
The six then turn and march away,
Their duty has been done this day
Politicians usually have much to say,
No sign of them near here this day
They hide away and out of danger,
Much easier if the hero is a stranger
The hearse with its precious load,
Moves slowly out onto the road
The floral tributes line the route,
While comrades snap a smart salute
At the edge of a Wiltshire town,
The cortege slows its pace right down
The streets are packed, many deep,
Some throw flowers, most just weep
The crowd have come to say farewell,
The church bell rings a low death knell
Regimental standards are lowered down,
As the hero passed through the town
The cortege stops and silence reigns,
The towns folk feel the family's pain.
The nations' flag lowered to half mast,
Our brave hero is home at last.
